Interested in piano? Here are 6 Youtube channels that are worth supporting

Even though i know that i will never ever be able to play piano like the people in this post, i still sometimes have dreams performing crazy pieces. Art is not an activiti that is done by certain people in certain areas. Art is mixing originality and universality by caring for what you do. I am not much involved with music that much as a computer engineer but if you are interested in playing or listening piano, i can list my favorite Youtube channels for you. This order is based on my taste and does not necessarily mean a good to bad order. All of them are delivering a mixture of an auditory and viual art to society. With a little bit of help of video editing tools of course. :)

Kassia

This one mostly has a line along with classical music. Despite being somewhat young compared to the other channels, this one is my favorite because of these reasons. It directly started with the difficult pieces and is able to produce one video a week. I'm sure it is not easy. You can visit the page via this link. And here is my favorite piece of the channel.

Rousseau

This one has the most number of subscribers. I am not exaclty sure how did he come to this point. He is definitely an amazing pianist that's for sure but i think his growth is accelereated by being one of the firsts and perfoming more popular pieces. He has classical music, newage and also movie scores in his sleeves. You can visit the page via this link. And here is my favorite piece of the channel.

Patrik Pietschmann

This was the first channel that i have discovered. All my curiosity has started with this one. I guess the Dark Knight was the first video i have watched on this channel. The pianist is not sharing content as frequent as the others. But every single performence is marvelous. Sometimes he makes his own arrangements. He is mostly focusing on movie scores. You can visit the page via this link. And here is my favorite piece of the channel.

Toms Mucenieks

From the originality perspective, this one has the widest range. There are movie score, game musics and popular or folk music or even tutorials too. He also includes the notes per second counter in his videos. He posts once a week usualy but the most original part of this channel is that he can turn happy songs to very very sad songs. If you turn on the captions, some videos can turn "happy birthday to you" to "imma die here". :) You can visit the page via this link. And here is my favorite piece of the channel. Make sure to turn on the closed captions captions for this one.

MusicalBasics

This dudes name is Lionel Yu. He was a part-time panist but he quit his job and started creating content on youtube as a full-time job. Which was a very suitable step for him. In a shot period of time he has reached 400 thousands of subscribers. This guy has a very distinct talent and also a completely original style. It is sort of improv and he can infuse his style to number of different types of music. He can do this with easy, medium, hard and insane difficulties too. You can visit the page via this link. And here is my favorite piece of the channel that he has Apreggioed the crap out of River Flows in You. This might cause dizziness. :)

Piano Tutorial Easy

This channel is sll about tutorial videos. It has a wide range of difficulty from kids level of ease to somewhat complex pieces that you can perform when friendly meetings. They usualy upload two seperate videos of the same song. One slow and one normal speed. This way, they can reach out to a very wide range of students. I have had help from these videos a little bit at the beginning but i have never been able to develop it more. There are movice music, some classical pieces and folk music too. You can visit the page via this link. Here is a sample video to illustrate their style.

And with this one i have officialy ended my list. These channels are alternatives for you to listen, watch and get inspired. Some of these channels have the Join option that you can support financially. Some of them have their own donation accounts on Patreon or others where you can directly support them. I hope i have given you a channel for your taste. See you at the next post :)
